Department of Electrical Engineering
This Department offer a three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Since its inception the Department has contributed in a big way to the society by providing technical manpower for various fields in India and abroad. The course offered by the Department is AICTE approved. Electrical Engineering diploma holders have access to a wide array of subjects including Power System, Electrical Machines, EEEM, Electrical Measurements and Measuring Instruments and Energy Management etc. The Department has its own library which serve both the faculty and students. The department is well equipped with various laboratories.Presently the intake is 60 students in first year and 20% of the total intake in the second year of the diploma course as a lateral entry. The dedicated faculty of the department always offers full support to the students to bring out the best in them. Each year of the course comprised of two semesters and at the end of each semester examinations are conducted by H.S.B.T.E Panchkula(Haryana). A six week practical training is provided to the students of Electrical Engineering Department in the leading companies at the end of fourth semester.
