Establishment of Herbal Park in GBN Govt. Polytechnic, Nilokheri
Organised by Social Health Club
Herbal Park inaugurated by Worthy Principal Sir,Sh. Jwala Prasad. HODs and staff members of relative departments planted the herbal trees like Long tulsi, tejpatta,amla, Lemongrass,Moringa,Insulin,Kaddi patta,Harshringar,Gudhal,Kala Bans etc.These are herbal medicinal plants which are used for good health and beneficial for students and staff.
Free yoga online for 21 days camp for Staff Members and Students
Organised by Social Health Club
Social Health club followed the instruction of AYUSH department Govt. of Haryana on the concept of Y-Break and provide the link for free online yoga Camp for 21 days by Govt. certified Yoga Trainer Sh. Saurabh Bothra.So that the staff and students remained de-stress, fresh and healthy.As well as Social health club provide free diet plans, winter healthy recepies book and yoga book online.

Y-break workshop for 5 days organized by Social Health club in the presence of Yoga Guru and finally introduce Y-Break@workplace on dated 12.1.2024 on the special occasion of Youth Day.
Anti Terrorism Day - 20th May 2022
India observes Anti-Terrorism Day on May 21st. Terrorism is a massive threat to the unity and peace in the country. So this day is marked to spread the message of peace and harmony. It is an opportunity to honour the sacrifices of thousands of secrurity personnel in the fight against terrorism. The objective behind observance of this day is to shun away the youth from Terrorism. To achieve the above objective various anti-terrorism programmes had been organised to foster unity and national pride in the people. One of them is 'Pledge-Taking Ceremony'. This year 21st May fell on Saturday so all the staff members and students of our institute took Anti-Terrorism pledge on 20th may 2022
Atamnirbhar Bharat - 16th June 2022
Awareness workshop Atamnirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan of Self-reliant
An awareness workshop was organised by Finance, Literacy Camp, State Bank of India, Karnal under Atamnirbhar Bharat Scheme on 16th June 2022 at GBN Govt. Polytechnic, Nilokheri. The aim of this scheme is to make the country and its citizen independent and self radiant in all senses. Staff members and students of the institute enthusiastically took part in the even and listened the guidance of the delegates
Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan
Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) Govt. of India has launched the National programme called Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA), with the vision to involve professional and higher educational institutions in the development of rural areas in the Country to achieve sustainable development and better quality of life. Our institute participated in Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan programme. Five villages were identified under this programme:-
1. Seedhpur
2. Khwaja Ahmadpur
3. Manak Majra
4. Raipur Roran
5. Butana
The staff members of this institute visited above said villages and surveyed the villages, collected information about family members. They (staff members) conducted the activities like tree plantation with the collaboration of villagers, put up the banners for the implementation of Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan programme at the various important points.
Symposium and Painting Competition
On 8th October 2021 during the induction or motivational programme a symposium and painting competition was organised in the college. The participants shocked the judges and audience with their creativity. The paintings made by the participants showed the glimpses of the patriotism. Especially girl students won the prizes in this event.
World Human Rights Day
World Human Rights Day was celebrated in the college on 10th December 2021. The students shared their ideas and views on the concerned topic
National Science Day
National Science Day is celebrated every year on February 28 to mark and recognize the contributions of Scientists towards the development of the country. In our institute a Quiz competition was conducted on the "National Science Day" on 28th February, 2022 to celebrate the India's 75 years of Independence - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The students participated in Science Quiz and got the knowledge of some scientific facts by answering the scientific questions. The experts/delegates from also imparted knowledge about science to the students and all the students listened it sincerely
Essay Writing Competition & The National Youth Day
To memorise, the sacrifice and struggle of our freedom fighters, the college organised an essay writing competition on 10th January 2022. The participants counted the contribution of our freedom fighters in their words.
On the occassion of 'The National Youth Day' an expert lecture was conducted by the college on 12th January 2022. Sh. Chandra Shekhar Patil, Sr. Manager, NTPC, Uttrakhand had delivered the lecture on zoom meeting and guided the youth.
Clay Modeling
To celebrate the 75th Independence Day - Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, a clay modeling competition was organized on 9th May 2022 in the college. The students of our college participated in this competition and gave shape to their patriotic emotions with the help of clay
Drug Awareness
Youth is the future of our country. But youth is destroying or ruining his life by consuming drugs. It is a poison. So to aware the students about the side-effects of drugs, a motivational lecture was organised by inviting Shri Shrikant Jadhan (IPS) ADGP Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau, who addressed to students to formulates strategies for the awareness of Drug Abuse on 16th May 2022. The students made the poster on the harmfull effects of drugs. All the faculty members and students took the pledge against consuming drugs to make our 'National Drugs Free Nation'. All the members and students presented there, took the pledge against consuming the drugs.
Theme Wall Painting
This year is celebrated as Azadi ka Amirt Mahotsav. Under this theme/title a Wall Painting competition was organised by the college, on 10th May 2022. Many students participated and expressed their gratitude to the forefathers of our nation and painted their emotions on the wall with the help of brush and colours.
Fancy Dress Competition & Anti Tobacco Day
A Fancy Dress Competition was organised on 13th May 2022 in our college. To inculcate the patriotic emotions and to introduce the history of our country to the youth, the students were dressed up in the costume of our freedom fighters. The participants won the hearts of all the audience with their words.
On the occasion of Anti Tobacco Day, pledge taking ceremony was organised by the college on 31st May 2022. To enliven the history of our country, a nukkar natak was enacted by the students on jalianwala bagh incident.
National Technology Day
On the occasion of National Technology Day various events like declamation contest, poster making and expert lecture were conducted in the institute to celebrate India's 75th years of independence - Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 11th May, 2022. The theme for declamation contest was 'Recent trends in science and technology'. Poster making competition was organised on the theme related with technology. The experts delivered the lecture on National Technology Day and addressed the students. The students of our college participated in the events and felt motivated by the ideas of experts.
World Yoga Day
World Yoga Day falls on 21st June every year. It is said that 'Pehla Sukh Nirogi Kaya'. So to make the students physically strong and mentally sound yoga day was celebrated in Girls and Boys hostel on 21st June 2022.
